What is solid teak furniture and how it is important for us.

As I am one of the house owner who has only some experience of using teak furniture in both indoor and outdoor environment but just like any other who may have heard about solid teak furniture but still have no idea what it is and how it different from the ordinary type.

However, I am still quite interested to find out about this and I finally found the answer. After discussed with some people who have better knowledge about teak furniture and he has mentioned about what is called solid teak furniture and do we really need it if we want to improve our overall appearance of the house as well as function of use.

In fact, within types of teak wood, there are many kind of teak wood, which has different type of texture. For example, we consider type of teak wood from its growing origin such as Asian teak, Africa teak and of course, due to the different environment of different region so they produce different type of teak wood. Solid teak is generally refer to teak that grown in Asia as it is believe that provide more solid texture and extra life cycle of usage. Therefore solid teak furniture then mean the furniture that made from Asian teak.

However, practically, it is quite hard to differentiate that which one is Asian teak or teak that comes from other region, and also they are quite similar, except you are a teak expert who can collect every little detail and be able to indicate the different.

Now it’s time for the question that do we need solid teak furniture. The answer to this question is “no”, because all kind of teak generally have considerable solid texture and hard enough to make outdoor or patio furniture. You do not have to waste your time to find it but just looking for the best quality that you can afford.
